Overview
Summit Editing is a creative services platform where customers purchase credits and spend them on video edit orders. Because edit work begins promptly after submission and involves real editorial labor, our general policy is that purchased credits are non-refundable. We stand behind the quality of our work through included revision rounds, which are the primary mechanism for addressing dissatisfaction.
This policy explains what is and is not refundable, what happens when you cancel an order, and how to reach us if something goes wrong.
1. Credits Are Non-Refundable
Once credits are purchased, they are generally non-refundable as monetary payments. This applies whether or not you have used those credits to submit orders.

2. Quality Is Addressed Through Revisions, Not Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with a delivered edit, the appropriate remedy is to use your included revision rounds:
- Standard package — 1 revision round included
- Premium package — 2–3 revision rounds included [confirm exact count per current pricing]
If you feel the delivered edit does not reasonably reflect your submitted instructions after the revision process is exhausted, contact us at info@summitediting.co. We will review the order and work to reach a fair resolution, which may include an additional complimentary revision at our discretion. Monetary refunds for completed and delivered orders are generally not available.
3. Order Cancellation and Credit Returns
You may cancel an order before it is completed. Summit Editing maintains a cancellation flow within the platform ("cancel order") that governs how credits are handled.
- Before work begins (awaiting footage or queue)If you cancel before an editor has begun work on your order, your credits will be returned to your account balance.
- Order in progressIf an editor has begun work on your order, whether and how many credits are returned to your account balance will depend on the stage of completion. - Delivered ordersOnce an order has been delivered, cancellation is not available. Use your revision rounds as described in Section 2.
Credits returned to your account balance through cancellation are account credits, not monetary refunds, and remain subject to any applicable credit expiry terms.
4. Rush Add-On
The Rush add-on fee is non-refundable once an order has been submitted with Rush status, as it is applied to prioritize your order in the editing queue immediately.
5. Unused Credits

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or Stripe rather than first contacting Summit Editing, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account pending investigation. We encourage you to contact us at info@summitediting.co before initiating any payment dispute — we will work with you directly to resolve legitimate concerns.
7. Exceptions at Our Discretion
Nothing in this policy prevents Summit Editing from issuing a refund or credit return at its sole discretion in circumstances it deems appropriate. Issuing a refund in one instance does not obligate Summit Editing to issue a refund in any other instance.

If you have a concern about an order, a charge, or your credits, contact us at info@summitediting.co. Please include your account email address, order ID (if applicable), and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within [confirm: e.g., 2 business days].
